22VAC40-191 Background Checks for Child Welfare Agencies

Comments:

A monitoring non-mandated inspection was conducted as a desk review on various days from February 6, 2020 through February 14, 2020. This was a focused inspection to examine identified areas of noncompliance. VALUES reports two (2) approved provider homes and two (2) children in placement. The agency reports that there have been no new staff hires and no newly approved provider homes since the last inspection. During this inspection, forms and processes were reviewed. An interview occurred via email with one personnel. An exit interview was conducted by email with the Director at the conclusion of the inspection to review preliminary findings. There were no violations. The licensee has five (5) calendar days from receipt of the inspection documentation to sign each page of the documentation and return it to the Licensing Office. The licensee should retain a copy to be posted at the facility. Results of the inspection documentation are subject to public disclosure and will be posted on the VDSS web site within 5 days.
