22VAC40-131 PROVIDER HOMES 22VAC40-191 Background Checks for Child Welfare Agencies

Comments:

An unannounced, non-mandated focused inspection was conducted at Braley and Thompson on 03/04/2020 from 9:50 am to 11:15 am to examine the area of noncompliance identified in the Intensive Plan of Correction issued on 01/06/2020. The agency reports nine (9) approved provider homes and 15 children in placement. During this inspection one provider home record and agency procedures were reviewed. One staff was interviewed during this inspection. An exit interview was conducted on 03/04/2020 with the program manager at the conclusion the inspection. An acknowledgement form was signed. There were no violations of Standards for Licensed Child-Placing Agencies. The licensee has five (5) calendar days from receipt of the inspection documentation to sign each page of the documentation and return it to the Licensing Office. The licensee should retain a copy to be posted at the facility. Results of the inspection documentation are subject to public disclosure and will be posted on the VDSS web site within 5 days.
