Comments:

A renewal inspection was initiated on 10/25/2021 and concluded on 11/3/2021. The Executive Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The inspector emailed the Director and Interim Program Director a list of items required to complete the remote documentation review portion of the inspection. The Executive Director reported a current census of twenty-seven (27) foster children in care and twenty-nine (29) provider homes. The inspector reviewed four (4) foster home provider records, three (3) foster children records, three (3) staff records. An exit interview was conducted with the Interim Program Director, and the Team Leader on the date of inspection, where findings were reviewed and an opportunity was given for questions, as well as for providing any information or documentation which was not available during the inspection.

Description:	Violation: Based on the review of the record for Foster Home 2 (FH-2) an out of state search of central registry or search of child abuse and neglect registry for Other Household Member 1 (OHM-1). Findings: 1. The record did not contain an out of state search of central registry or search of child abuse and neglect registry for the state of Maryland, a state in which the OHM-1 resided in within the last five (5) years. 2. During the exit interview, AR-1 acknowledged that the central registry check was out of compliance.
