Technical Assistance:

The Licensing inspector provided technical assistance to the licensee regarding the standard for a separate storage location of the ammunition.

Comments:

An onsite renewal inspection was initiated on 4/18/2022 on 4/19/2022. The Licensing Inspector made an onsite visit to the Forest, Virginia location. The inspector discussed the Covid-19 protocol with the TFC Director present prior to proceeding with the inspection. After the protocol was cleared, the Licensing Inspector initiated the inspection. The inspector conducted an entrance conference regarding the items required to complete inspection and requested documentation for the review portion of the inspection. There were no changes to the policy and procedures and there were no program changes. The TFC Director reported a current census of Twenty-eight (28) foster children in care and Thirty (30) provider homes. The inspector reviewed Four (4) foster home provider records, Three (3) foster children records, and One (1) foster child discharge record. The Licensing Inspector reviewed background checks for all board officers. The Licensing Inspector reviewed Five (5) personnel records. An exit interview was conducted with Executive Director, Associate Director, and the TFC Director on the date of the inspection, where findings were reviewed and an opportunity was given for questions, as well as for providing any information or documentation which was not available during the inspection.
