Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced renewal inspection was initiated on 1/4/2021 and concluded on 1/15/2021. The regional director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The agency reported 9 children in care, and 7 approved provider homes. One child record, two provider home records, and three staff records were reviewed. Three staff were interviewed during this inspection. The regional director was available for questions throughout the inspection. An exit interview was conducted by telephone on 1/15/2021 from approximately 3:00 pm to 3:40 pm with the regional director, assistant program director, community based services supervisors, family services coordinator and assistant director of quality improvement and risk management to discuss preliminary inspection findings. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
