Comments:

This inspection was conducted using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. This announced focused inspection was conducted to determine compliance with plans of correction submitted for previous inspection and to review the agencies revised policies and procedures. The inspection was initiated on 3/22/2021 and concluded on 3/24/2021. The regional director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The agency reported 16 children in care, and 17 approved provider homes. No new hires since the last inspection. The regional director was available for questions throughout the inspection. Safety plans for 6 children were reviewed and 1 child record was reviewed. One staff was interviewed regarding training provided to staff. Training for staff was reviewed and the licensee?s policies and procedures on, Protocols and Practices: A pro-active approach to further ensure the safety of our youth and Self Harm Protocols were reviewed. An exit interview was conducted by telephone on 3/24/2021 at approximately 9:20 am with the regional director to discuss inspection findings. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
