Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced renewal inspection was initiated on 5/11/2021 and concluded on 05/14/2021. The caseworker was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The agency reported 4 children in care and 3 approved provider homes. The inspector emailed the caseworker a list of items required to complete the inspection. The caseworker was available to answer questions throughout the inspection. The inspector reviewed 2 provider home records, 1 child record and background checks for the corporate board officers. An exit interview was conducted by telephone on 05/14/21 at approximately 10:00 am with the caseworker. Information gathered during the inspection determined compliance(s) with applicable standards or law, and no violations were documented on the violation notice.
