Type of inspection: Initial An onsite inspection was conducted at the office site location on 7/1/2024 from 10:15 am until 1:15 pm. Number of children in care: N/A Number of approved provider homes: N/A The Licensing Inspector completed a tour of the office location that included the office setting and conditions and to ensure compliance with standards. The Licensing Inspector toured the Independent Living Apartment location site, and the location was appropriate for the services. Select policies and procedures were reviewed prior to onsite office visit. Licensing Inspector on 7/1/2024 reviewed background checks, Central Registry results, and sworn statements for all employee records.. Number of children?s records reviewed: N/A Number of staff records reviewed: 5 records, which included 2 corporate officer records. Number of interviews conducted with staff: 1 entrance and exit interview with the CEO. Licensing inspector reviewed a mock youth record and program forms. Observations by licensing inspector: The office setting and conditions meets the compliance standards. Additional Comments/Discussion: Fostering Arcadia is an initial Independent Living Arrangement agency providing services in the Tidewater area of Virginia.
