The Virginia Department of Social Services, in partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture, is working to make it easier for Commonwealth of Virginia residents who are elderly, disabled or unhoused (and their spouses) to have greater access to hot, prepared meals through the Virginia Restaurant Meals Program (VRMP).
Eligible SNAP customers who meet VRMP criteria will be able to use their EBT card to purchase prepared meals at participating restaurants just like they can purchase items at grocery stores.
Look for the VRMP logo displayed within participating restaurants.
