Comments:

This was an unannounced renewal inspection conducted by the Licensing Inspector from the Eastern Regional Office. The inspection was conducted on August 13, 2019 from 9:55 AM until 2:41 PM. There are a total of 29 participants enrolled with 16 participants present at the time of inspection. During the inspection a tour of the building and grounds was conducted. An exercise activity and an art activity were observed. The lunch meal was observed as posted on the menu to include Salisbury patty, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, bread, and fruit with choice of beverage. A review of medication administration records and medication storage was conducted. Participant records and staff records were reviewed, to include a review of criminal background checks for new staff hired since the previous inspection. A discussion was held with the Director regarding the Participants' Rights information to be included on the signature form. Also discussed the need for a review and update of the Policies and Procedures manual and the Emergency Action Plan manual. There were no violations cited during this inspection.
