The LI for Smith Mountain Lake retirement Village conducted an announced visit at the the facility on 4/11/2019 from 9:40am until 11:30am to conduct a physical plant inspection of the new addition to the facility including the new portion of the memory care unit. Room and window measurements were taken and signaling devices reviewed. The memory care locking egress was observed. The facility is requesting for an increase in capacity from 87 to 115. The LI advised that final certificate of occupancy for both new additions will need to be received to be able to process the increase in capacity.
