Comments:

The LI for Highland House and another LI conducted an unannounced focus monitoring inspection on 01/28/2020 from 1:25PM to 1:45PM to determine correction and compliance with the medication issues cited at the Renewal Study. Sixteen residents were in care at the time of the inspection. Previous violations were reviewed. There were no repeat violations. There was discussion about best practice for thorough labeling of insulin pens. Findings were reviewed with facility staff during the inspection. An exit interview was conducted with the Administrator on the date of inspection.
