22.1 Early Childhood Care and Education

An unannounced mandated monitoring inspection and a monitoring inspection to examine the areas of noncompliance identified in the Intensive Plan of Correction were conducted together from 9:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Policies, procedures and supervision were reviewed.
There were 64 children in care ages 6 weeks through 13 years of age under the supervision of 14 staff. Water play, outdoor play including 'wheels' play was observed. Classrooms, supplies and materials were observed.
Two medications, authorizations and one administration log was reviewed and in compliance. Seven children's records, four staff records including two new hires were reviewed.
Areas of the center including classrooms and medication were reviewed. Documentation was reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
