Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on July 13, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. There were 47 children in the care of 8 staff. Four children and six staff records were reviewed and updated. No medication is being administered at the present.

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-B-2 Description: Based on record review, the facility failed to obtain fingerprints for one staff member.
Evidence:
1. Six staff records were reviewed.
2. Staff #2 did not have documentation of obtaining a fingerprint check.
3. The director confirmed the staff had not obtained fingerprints.Plan of Correction: Staff #2 will obtain fingerprints as soon as possible. Documentation will be sent to the licensing inspector.
Standard #: 8VAC20-770-40-D-2 Description: Based on record review, the center failed to obtain a central registry check within 30 days of employment for one employee.
1. Six staff records were reviewed.
2. Staff #1 did not have documentation of obtaining a central registry check within 30 days of hire. Hire date was documented as 06/14/2022.
3. The director confirmed the central registry check had not been obtained.Plan of Correction: A central registry check will be obtained for Staff #1 as soon as possible. Findings will be emailed to the licensing inspector.
