Complaint related: Yes
Description: REPEAT VIOLATION
SYSTEMIC VIOLATION

Based on video footage, the required staff-to-child ratio of 1:4 for infants was not followed.

Evidence: On April 30, 2024 at approximately 8:25am, there were 5 infants with 1 staff member. At 8:45am, another child came into care. There were 6 children in care with 1 staff member until approximately 9:00am when another staff member came into the classroom. The infant classroom was out of ratio for 40 minutes.

Plan of Correction: Staff members will reach out to
their co-workers to receive the
needed assistance to ensure
ratios are met.
To maintain ratios the center has
made changes to the operational
structure for the upcoming
school year. Some of these
changes include hours of
operation, classroom numbers,
employee shifts, etc.
