An unannounced code compliance inspection was initiated on and concluded on January 29, 2024. There were 24 children present, ranging in ages from 3 to 5, with 5 staff supervising. Additional administrative staff were present. A total of 7 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 11:05 AM and concluded at 12:20 PM. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable code sections and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22.1-289.031-B-1 Description: Based on staff interviews, the center did not ensure handwashing by staff and children occurred before eating.
Evidence: Center Staff in the 3 year old room verified the children use hand sanitizer before eating and not always do they wash their hands which is a required established procedure that is to be implemented.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
