An unannounced renewal inspection was initiated on 5/20/2024 and completed on 05/28/2024. The inspector was on site from 11:45am until 2:15pm.
There were 34 children, ages 3 to 5years old under the supervision of eight staff. Children were observed during indoor free play, outdoor play and lunchtime. Four children's records, three staff records and two board member records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-M Description: Based on observation and interview, the center failed to ensure the center shall maintain, in a way that is accessible to all staff who work with children, a current written list of all children?s allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions documented in the allergy plan required. This list shall be dated and kept confidential in each room or area where children are present.
