Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. There were 25 children in care ages 3 years to 5 years of age under the care and supervision of 3 staff. Children were observed during nap time, transition time and preparing for outdoor play. Childcare areas, supplies and materials were observed.

Four children's records and two staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-450-A
Description: Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that all nap cots were equipped with a top and bottom cover. Evidence: In both the three/four class and four/five class, the nap cots were not equipped with a bottom sheet or linen.
