Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-A-1 Description: Based on review of four staff records, the center did not ensure that each staff member submitted documentation of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening at the time of employment and prior to coming into contact with children. Evidence: 1. The TB screening on record for Staff #1, with a hire date of 2/8/22, was dated 3/13/22. 2. The TB screening on record for Staff #2, with a hire date of 2/15/22, was dated 3/12/22. 3. The TB screening on record for Staff #3, with a hire date of 3/14/22, was dated 3/16/22. Plan of Correction: It has been noted the recent TB change in which all employees must have a TB test before work begins, not up to 21 days after starting work. TB test will be completed before they begin at the center.
