Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted May 8, 2024 between the hours of 10:24am - 11:40am. There were 20 children directly supervised by 2 staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing outside and participating in a group activity. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Description: Based on observation, the child day program did not ensure that a carbon monoxide detector was installed in a building that was built before 2015, that houses a child day program that serves preschool-age children.
Evidence:
1) A carbon monoxide detector was not in the center.

Plan of Correction: A Carbon Monoxide Detector has been powered up and fully installed in the classroom.
