A monitoring inspection was conducted using a virtual and remote protocol with the provider from1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. There were no children in care so not all standards could be reviewed. Childcare areas, supplies and materials were observed.
Documentation was reviewed including staff training, emergency drills and household member records.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 8VAC20-770-40-D-5 Description: REPEAT VIOLATION
Based on record review and interview, the provider failed to ensure that within 30 days of a member of the household becoming 14-years-old a search of the central registry was completed.
Evidence: Household member #2, age 15, did not have central registry background check results on file.Plan of Correction: The central registry for household member #2 has been requested, however there was an error. As of today, the provider reached out to central registry background for an update and assistance.
