An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with the provider. There were nine children in care ages nine months through five years old for a total of twenty-seven points under the care and supervision of two staff.
Childcare areas, supplies and materials were observed. Children were observed during nap time. Two infants were observed sleeping. One infant woke during the inspection and was held and had play time.
Three children's records and two caregiver/household records reviewed. Two pet (dog) records were reviewed and up to date. Two medications and authorizations were reviewed and in compliance. Emergency drills were current. Posted information was reviewed.
Staff training hours were reviewed. The provider completed 22 hours in the last license year. The assistant completed 18 hours in the last license year.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
