An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12:45pm-2:20pm. There were 11 children directly supervised by the provider and 1 assistant caregiver. The home, 3 caregiver records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed during naptime and playing freely. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-B-2 Description: Based on record review, the provider did not obtain a fingerprint-based criminal history record check prior to the first date of employment for 1 caregiver.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver #3 began employment in 2/2024.

1. Caregiver #3 began employment in 2/2024. The tuberculosis screening in the record for Caregiver #3 was dated 3/1/2023, more than 30 days prior to the first date of employment.Plan of Correction: Tuberculosis screenings will be obtained within 30 days before the first day for new caregivers.
