Standard #: 63.2-1720.1-A Description: Based on review of two caregiver records and interview, the provider did not obtain the required updated background check for one caregivers record.
Evidence:
The record for caregiver #1 contained a central registry finding dated 11/20/2015. The provider confirmed this information during the inspection. Effective July 1, 2017, all caregivers must repeat background checks every five years.Plan of Correction: Per the provider: I will request a repeat central registry check and ensure they are all updated every five years.
