A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 5/6/24.. There were 10 children present with 2 caregivers. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy
requirements that are not covered in licensing standard were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards or law.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-170-G
Description: The vendor shall maintain in a way that is accessible to all caregivers, a current written list of all children's allergies/sensitivities/diet restrictions. This list shall be dated and kept confidential.
The allergy list was not dated, was posted on the wall with no cover sheet therefore not kept confidential and it did not list a sesame allergy for child A.

Plan of Correction: I will update this list to include all of the required information.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-190-B-12
Description: A written care plan is required for each child with a diagnosed food allergy from a physician regarding the food allergy and steps to be taken in the event of suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.
Child A has a diagnosed food allergy to sesame, eggs and tree nuts. There were no allergy care plans on file for any of these allergies.

Plan of Correction: I will obtain the allergy care plans from the physician.
