This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 5/11/2020 and concluded on 5/20/2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children or staff present. The center is currently closed. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed two children?s records and two staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Previous violations that could be verified through this type inspection process were verified to be corrected. All violations related to care of children were not observed as the program is closed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
