An unannounced, on-site focused inspection was completed on July 11, 2024, as a part of the provisional licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:25 a.m. and ended at 10:05 a.m.. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 42 children present and 7 staff. The inspector reviewed 1 children?s record and 3 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, observations, tour of the facility and interviews. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on July 30, 2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-M Description: REPEAT VIOLATION
The center is required to keep a current list of all known allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions in each room or area where children are present. The list must be dated and kept confidential. The lists in all classrooms were outdated, listing children who are no longer enrolled at the center. There was a sign listing a food restriction for Child #1 in the Pre-K 2 room, posted on the side of the cubbies in plain sight.Plan of Correction: All List of all known allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions in each classroom and/or area where children are present; we will keep them confidential and placed out of sight by anyone other than Staff.
