Standard #: 22VAC40-665-520-B-11 Description: Based on staff interview, review of children's records, and review of medications, it was determined that not all children with diagnosed food allergies had documentation of a written allergy care plan on file.
Evidence:
1. Child #6 has a diagnosed food allergy and has an emergency medication on site and did not have a written allergy care plan signed by a physician on file.Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent to get that completed and signed by a doctor.
