A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements not covered in the licensing regulations. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date, and the two inspections combined cover all SHSI requirements. An area of non-compliance with the supplemental SHSI requirements was found. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-F Description: Based on records reviewed, 1 of 7 staff records did not include documentation of the VDOE health and safety update course (subsidy 3 hours) annually. Evidence: Staff #4 completed the Virginia Preservice Course in September 2020 and there is no documentation that the annual health and safety course has been taken annually since then.
