Standard #: 8VAC20-770-40-D-5 Description: Based on record review and provider statement, a person of 14 years of age and older residing at the family day home did not have a search of the central registry available within 30 days of the person becoming 14 years old.
Evidence:
Household Member #3 (DOB: December 2009) was missing documentation of a search of the central registry in the records.Plan of Correction: We started the process of search of the Central Registry.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-760-A-1 Description: Based on observation, the first aid kit did not contain the minimum required emergency supplies.
Evidence:
The first aid kit was missing the below listed required items:
1) First aid instructional manual
2) More than 1 triangular bandagesPlan of Correction: 1. First Aid instructional manual was printed and placed in the 1st aid area.
2. The second triangular band. has been purchased.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A Description: Based on record review, the provider did not practice monthly with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts that children are in care.
Evidence:
Drill record did not have any documentation of a fire drill completed for the month of December 2023.Plan of Correction: We will more carefully maintain the records updates from a year ago.
