An on-site inspection annual subsidy inspection was conducted on April 5, 2023. Licensing was greeted by the vendor. The vendor provided a walk-through of the home. There were no children present at the time of the inspection. The daycare was sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for children, and appeared no hazardous concerns today. The vendor completed the required pre-application training.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-430-B Description: Based on emergency response drills, the vendor did not have documentation record the dates of the practice drills for one year.
Evidence:
1.The vendor did not have documentation of emergency response drills completed from April 5, 2022 to April 5, 2023.
2. The emergency response drills for evacuation procedures were practiced at least monthly.
3. The shelter-in-place procedures have not been practiced twice a year.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
