An unannounced focused monitoring inspection was conducted on 02/08/2024. There were 9 children and 1 resident child, ages 7 months-4 years, totaling 25 points, and four caregivers present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, physical equipment and environment, and care of children. The children were observed in free choice activities and participating in indoor large motor play. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 10:50 am and departed at 11:50 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-170-A Description: Based on record review, the provider failed to obtain a current report of Tuberculosis Screening at the time of hire.
Evidence:
1. The record for Caregiver 3 had a documented hire date of 01/02/2024. The Tuberculosis screening for Caregiver 3 was dated 02/02/2024.
2. The record for Caregiver 4 had a documented hire date of 01/02/2024. The Tuberculosis screening for Caregiver 4 was dated 02/02/2024.Plan of Correction: Will get prior to hire.
