An unannounced inspection was conducted 04/23/2024 in response to a complaint regarding staff-to-children ratio requirements. Documentation was reviewed, classroom observations and interviews were conducted. The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation supports the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Evidence:
Based on review of the ?Child Supervision Record (CSR) dated 04/19/2024 documented at 8:30 a.m. there were 15 children in the Infant II room with 3 staff (S1, S2, and S3)
Based on observation the center did not maintain the ratio of 1 staff to four children in the Infant II room on 04/23/2024. The licensing inspector entered the Infant II room at approximately 8:19 a.m. and observed 13 infants being cared for by 3 staff members. The staff acknowledged the room was out of ratio when licensing inspector entered the room as well as other times on other days.
