An initial announced mandated inspection was completed from 2:20pm until 4:15 by the licensing inspector and licensing administrator. No children were in care.
The center was inspected inside and outside and is ready to operate. The center is supplied with all the necessary equipment, including emergency equipment, toys, cleaning supplies, etc. to open. The licensee and key staff have completed CDC Phase II training. Staff have completed initial trainings such as child abuse reporting, MAT training, the 10 hr. health and safety training, daily health training, and first aid and CPR. All necessary documents have been received by the licensing office. The center is completing work on the playground area and fencing this week before opening to serve children.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
