Comments:
An announced initial inspection was conducted on 3/11/24 from 10 am to 11:25 am. During this inspection, 3 children (8 points) were present with 1 staff supervising. A tour of the family day home was conducted to assess the space that will be used by the children. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 children's records, 1 staff record and 1 household member's record was reviewed. First aid supplies, daycare postings and materials and toys for children's use were also reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. For any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at mahrukh.aziz@doe.virginia.gov or 571-835-4718.
