An announced, on-site initial inspection was conducted on 5/6/2024, The on-site inspection began at 11:00am and ended at 11:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 5 children present (including one resident child) and 1 staff. The inspector reviewed 1 sample child record and 4 staff records and household member records. This inspection included document review, tour of the home, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 5/15/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-430-B Description: Pressure mounted gated are not to be used as protective barriers at stair openings. The provider is utilizing a pressure mounted gate at the base of the stairs in the child care area. Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
