Technical Assistance:

Licensee shall ensure that annual employee evaluations are consistent with the evaluation of the employee?s work performance and job task and based on the licensee?s own policies and procedures.

Comments:

Type of inspection: Renewal Date(s) of inspection and time the licensing inspector was on-site at the facility for each day of the inspection: 6/27/2022 from 11:15a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6/28/2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Licensing Inspector met with the Executive Director and the Senior Quality Assurance staff at the site. Number of approved provider homes: (23) Number of children in care: (8) The licensing inspector completed a tour of the physical plant that included the office setting and conditions. Number of children?s records reviewed: (2) and (2) discharged children?s record. Number of provider home records reviewed: (2) and (1) closed foster home record. Number of staff records reviewed: (2) and the (2) board officers. Observations by licensing inspector: posting of the license and inspection documents was observed. An exit meeting was conducted on the date of inspection. There were no changes made to the policies or procedures during the licensing period. The evidence gathered during the inspection determined (0) violations with applicable standard(s) or law. The Licensing Inspector did provide technical assistance regarding employee annual evaluations. The inspection summary will be posted to the VDSS website within five (5) business days of your receipt of the inspection summary.
