Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced renewal inspection was initiated on 04/14/2021 and concluded on 04/20/2021. The executive director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The agency reported 22 approved adoptive homes. The inspector emailed the executive director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The executive director was available to answer questions throughout the inspection. The inspector reviewed 2 personnel records, 3 adoptive home records, background checks for 7 additional provider homes and interviewed 2 employees. Background checks for corporate board officers were reviewed and are in compliance. An exit interview was conducted by telephone on 04/20/21 at approximately 3:15 pm with the executive director to discuss preliminary inspection findings. Information gathered during the inspection determined compliance with applicable standards or law, and no violations were cited for this inspection.
