Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A renewal inspection was initiated on 3/17/2021. The inspection was concluded on 3/24/2021. The Executive Director was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. The agency reports ten adoptive families approved and waiting. The inspector emailed the Executive Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed documents from two provider homes and 2 personnel records submitted by the agency. Background checks for 2 corporate officers were also reviewed in compliance with regulations regarding license renewals. An exit interview was conducted on 3/24/2021 with the Executive Director. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
