The Licensee shall ensure that clothing and spending money for children are documented consistently

Type of inspection: Renewal
Date(s) of inspection and time the licensing inspector was on-site at the facility for each day of the inspection: 2/21/2023 from 10:30a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 2/22/2023 9:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Licensing Inspector met with the Program Manager and the secretary at the site to discuss the entrance to the inspection.

Number of children in care: (26)
The licensing inspector completed a tour of the physical plant that included the office setting and conditions. Number of children?s records reviewed: (2) and (1) discharge child record. Number of provider home records reviewed: (2)
Number of staff records reviewed: (4) during this inspection. Number of Board Officers reviewed (3) Observations by licensing inspector: posting of the license and inspection documents was observed. An exit meeting was conducted on the date of inspection as there were no citations issued. There were no changes made to the policies or procedures since the last inspection. Licensee will provide a copy of the program evaluation for the agency to the Licensing Specialist for review.
The Licensing Specialist interviewed a new hire Family Consultant (AR-3) regarding responsibilities, training, and supervision.
The evidence gathered during the inspection determined (0) violations with applicable standard(s) or law. The Licensing Inspector did provide technical assistance regarding ensuring clothing inventory and allowance documentation is consistently documented.
The inspection summary will be posted to the VDSS website within five (5) business days of your receipt of the inspection summary.
