Technical Assistance provided regarding Standard #22VAC40-131-180.J.E.4-recommended updating policies and procedures to address other household members as well as document procedures for individuals who violate policies related to this standard.

Comments:

An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted at Intercept-Chester on February 6, 2020 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM due to a complaint related to corporal punishment. During this inspection three (3) provider home records were reviewed, two (2) children records were reviewed, agency representatives were interviewed, and policies and procedures were reviewed. An exit interview was conducted on February 6, 2019 at 12:23 pm with agency representatives (Director of Therapeutic Foster Care, Regional Supervisor, Program Supervisor and Quality Assurance Staff). The complaint is deemed as valid. There were no violations determined during this inspection.
