Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on February 9, 2021 and concluded on February 17, 2021. The Executive Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The Executive Director reported 9 foster homes with 5 children in foster care. The inspector emailed the Executive Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed one foster home record, one record for a child in foster care, and one personnel record. The agency confirmed COVID-19 policies and procedures. Exit meeting was held with the Executive Director on February 17, 2021. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. The licensee has five calendar days from receipt of the inspection documentation to sign each page of the documentation and return it to the Licensing Office. The licensee should retain a copy to be posted at the facility. Please do not post the Supplemental form. Results of the inspection documentation are subject to public disclosure and will be posted on the VDSS web site within 5 days
