Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on December 08, 2020 and concluded on December 16, 2020. The The Therapeutic Foster Care Program Director was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. The inspector emailed the Program Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The agency reported 19 children in care and 34 approved provider homes. The inspector reviewed 2 complete child records 1 complete provider home record, 4 additional record (background checks only) and 1 staff record. There was a previous review of Board Officer Records. Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Results of the inspection are subject to public disclosure and will be posted on the Virginia Department of Social Services public website within five business days, regardless of whether or not the Plan of Correction is completed.
