Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced renewal inspection was conducted on 10/21/2020 and 10/23/202. The Director of Foster Care and Independent Living responded to the notification of inspection, provided records for review, and remained available during the inspection. The licensee reported 15 children and youth in placement and 13 approved provider homes. During this inspection two (2) foster child, two (2) foster home, and two (2) personnel records were reviewed. The Director of Foster Care and Independent Living, Site Leader/Foster Care and Independent Living Supervisor, and a Foster Care Specialist participated in the exit interview on 10/23/2020. There were no citations for violations of the Standards for Child-Placing Agencies.
