Comments:

An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted following receipt of a complaint regarding policies and procedures. The Licensing Specialist conducted the inspection on 1/15/20 from approximately 9:37 a.m. to 11:47 a.m. The agency reports a census of eight (8) youth in independent living arrangements. The following is a listing of the activities for this inspection: two staff were interviewed, two youth were interviewed, and relevant policies and procedures were reviewed. The Regional Supervisor and the Executive Director were on site and accessible during the inspection. The Licensing Specialist interviewed these staff members in order to seek clarification about the complaint. An Acknowledgement of Inspection form was signed and left at the facility. No violations were cited; therefore, this complaint is determined not valid. The licensee should retain a copy of this document to be posted at the facility. The results of the inspection are subject to public disclosure and will be posted on the Virginia Department of Social Services website within 5 business days.
