Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A focused inspection was initiated on August 4, 2020 and concluded on August 25, 2020. The focused inspection was conducted to examine the areas of noncompliance identified in the Intensive Plan of Correction. The Executive Director was contacted by telephone to conduct the investigation. The inspector reviewed portions of nine foster home records via electronic records access. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. Exit meeting was held with the Executive Director via telephone on August 25, 2020. No violations were issued. The licensee has five calendar days from receipt of the inspection documentation to sign each page of the documentation and return it to the Licensing Office. The licensee should retain a copy to be posted at the facility. Please do not post the Supplemental form. Results of the inspection documentation are subject to public disclosure and will be posted on the VDSS web site within 5 days.
