Comments:

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on March 15, 2022 from 11:45 a.m. to 3:18 p.m. at the Winchester agency and March 16, 2022 from 9:40 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Fredericksburg office for personnel record review. The agency reports seven (7) approved foster homes. No staff were hired since the last inspection. During this inspection, personnel documentation for one (1) staff was reviewed, in addition to documentation for two (2) newly appointed board officers. Records for two (2) foster homes and one record for one (1) child in foster care were reviewed. Preliminary inspection findings were reviewed at the conclusion of the inspection with agency representative AR2. An acknowledgement form was signed. The licensee has five (5) calendar days from receipt of the inspection documentation to sign each page of the documentation and return it to the Licensing Office. The licensee should retain a copy to be posted at the facility. Results of the inspection documentation are subject to public disclosure and will be posted on the VDSS web site within 5 days.
