This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced, non-mandated focused inspection was initiated on 8/5/2020 to examine the area of noncompliance identified in the Intensive Plan of Correction issued on 6/17/2020. The licensee reports 17 children in foster care and 13 approved provider homes. The program manager was contacted to initiate the inspection. During this inspection, two children records and one provider home record was reviewed to determine compliance with standards which resulted in the agency being issued an intensive plan of correction. The program manager participated in the exit interview via telephone on 8/7/2020 at approximately 10:40 am. There were no citations for violations of the Standards for Child-Placing Agencies. An acknowledgement form was left with the team leader at the end of the inspection.
