Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on 8/5/2020 and 8/6/2020. The Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The agency reported 17 children in placement and 16 approved provider homes. The agency reported one new staff since the last inspection. The inspector emailed the TFC Director the list of cases for review and items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed two (2) child records and eight (8) provider home records. One (1) personnel record was reviewed. An exit interview was conducted on 8/6/2020 with the TFC Director, two (2) Regional Supervisors, a Documentation Supervisor, a Treatment Foster Care Supervisor, a Family Services Specialist, and a Family Services Supervisor. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
