Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An announced renewal inspection was conducted on 3/23/2021 and 3/24/2021. The licensee reported 23 children in foster care and 13 approved homes. During this inspection three (3) child, three (3) foster home, and one (1) personnel records were reviewed. Background checks for Board Officers were reviewed. The agency?s COVID-19 policies were reviewed. The Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Director responded to the notice of inspection, provided access to records, and remained available during the inspection. The TFC Director, TFC Regional Supervisor, TFC Supervisor, Family Services Specialist Supervisor, Family Services Specialist Senior Manager, and Documentation Supervisor, participated in the exit interview on 3/24/2021. There were no citations for violations of the Standards for Child-Placing Agencies.
